PRIVATE PUPPY CLASSES

Currently, we only offer private (one-on-one) puppy training. Our trainer, Sam, will come to your house and help you train basic cues (sit, down, stay, come, etc.) and provide advice related to other common topics. Advice and training will be specific to your puppy's age and requirements.

  • Training methods (positive reinforcement, minimally aversive)

  • ​How to train basic cues (sit, down, stay, come, drop, leave it, etc.)

  • Potty training

  • Socialization (with people and dogs)

  • Leash work

  • Bite-inhibition

  • Crate training

  • Impulse control

  • How to react to fear

  • How to react to aggression​

  • Food guarding

  • Proofing 3Ds (Distraction, Duration, and Distance)

  • Transitioning from food reinforcers to activity reinforcers

  • Maintenance of training

  • Anything the client has questions about or is interested in learning
